ORDERING
INSTRUCTIONS
Enter your own custom lettering on each line indicated. The
lines start at the top and go down the badge in order. All badges
shown in the catalog are just examples. You customize the badge
for your own needs. Please remember that the more letters you
use on a panel, the smaller and more condensed the letters become.
STATE SEALS for
all 50 states are available in authentic designs. Baked enamel
state seals feature beautiful lettering in a jewel-like finish,
creating a badge of honor to be worn with pride. Choose plain,
border with color or full color. The price of the badge includes
your choice of seals.

STANDARD FINISHES
NICKEL : A traditional silver
finish with a golden yellow cast. Applied over a highly polished
brass metal, it has a high degree of hardness for long wear.
Nickel plate will sometimes lose some of its luster with age.
RHODIUM: A brilliant silver finish with a blue white cast. This
semi-precious metal finish is applied over a bright, nickel-plated
base and is tarnish resistant. It will not discolor. GOLD: A
rich, 24K gold electroplated finish. A heavy gold deposit over
a bright nickel base insures long wear.
You have the option of a RHODIUM badge with GOLD center seal,
or a GOLD badge with a RHODIUM center seal. This will give a
limited apperance of a two-tone badge. |

DELUXE FINISHES
SIL-RAY : A bright, deep toned silver
with a special baked coating for durability and long wear. GOL-RAY:
A bright, deep toned gold with a special baked coating for durability
and long wear. TWO-TONE: A combination of silver and gold colors.
Badges may have Silver Background with Gold Panels (NG) or Gold
Background with Silver Panels (GN). These finishes are available
on all badges. COTE D'OR GOLD: Extra heavy 24K gold electroplate.
Has an extremely hard finish and will not tarnish or discolor.
LETTERING OPTIONS
STANDARD lettering is filled with a choice of black, blue, red,
green or white enamel color, leveled and air cured. HARD FIRED
lettering is filled with enamel, baked to a hard finish, and
ground until flush with the surface of the badge.

BADGE SHAPE/ATTACHMENT
FLAT BADGE/WALLET CLIP is recommend if it will be used in a wallet
exclusively and you are buying a wallet clip. SLIGHTLY CURVED BADGE/PIN & SAFETY
CLIP is recommended if you are wearing your badge on your shirt
or hat. If the badge will be worn and used in any leather product
we recommend a SLIGHTLY CURVED BADGE/PIN & SAFETY CLIP to be
more universal. Either shape and attachment will fit ALL leather
products. HAT SCREW POST/SLIGHTLY CURVED BADGE is recommended only
for use on hat attachments, and cannot be used in any leather products.
MONEY CLIP/FLAT BADGE is recommended if you wish to create a money
clip used to secure money in your pocket. NO ATTACHMANT is recommended
for shadow boxes and display purposes.

| LETTERING FONTS: The
most common font is BLOCK LETTERING, and is shown on a majority
of badges in the catalog. ROMAN LETTERING is common is some parts
of the country, and is shown on Page 1 badge style S71. We strongly
recommend BLOCK LETTERING.
LEATHER ACCESSORIES:
We sell a complete line of custom recessed wallets, ID cases
and belt clips recessed for your badge for each Smith & Warren
badge we sell. To ensure proper fit, we strongly recommend
that you order all recessed products at the same time as the
badge. If you need to order later, please remember your model
number. You can order a selected amount of leather products
with your badge. We also have other leather products,insignia,
name plates, collar brass and accessories throughout the full
Smith & Warren catalog.
RETURN/CANCELLATION POLICY:
Personalized apparel and custom badges cannot be returned. If
we make a mistake we will replace the item at no additional
charge. Any changes or cancellations cannot be done after 24
hours of placing the order.
OTHER INFORMATION:
All badges are manufactured in CAPITAL LETTERS even if you enter
small letters on the order form. |
