3. What identification do you require for me to order a law enforcement badge?
 

We request that a Department ID be faxed to our office to processing the order. The ID must bear the name of the person we are shipping to. We reserve the right to contact the department to verify employment. Please fax your ID to 866-9-BADGES

We currently do not require an ID for fire departments, EMT's, or any medical related fields.

Sorry, we do not sell to police badge collectors for security reasons.

Yes you can. It is very common throughout the country that officers purchase badges for their loved ones. We do require an ID for any and all family badges just like our regular badges.

We have made hundreds of personalized badges for many different professions around the country. Be as creative as you wish so long as it does not violate our policy. We have sold hundreds of badges to lawyes, accountants and other professions.

8. What do I do if I do not want to process my credit card via the internet?
 

Please process your order on the internet, and checking out. You can select I WILL CALL IN MY CREDIT CARD and call us with your credit card number after making the order. Please leave your credit card info on Extension 11.

10. I ordered a custom badge, how long does it take to manufacture & ship?
 

The manufacturing process for your custom designed badge(s) usually takes 30 days for Smith & Warren to manufacturer. Don't forget shipping can take up to one extra week, depending on what part of the country you live in.

11. I am a federal employee and want a badge, what do I need?
 

Most agencies we do not make badges for, like FBI, DEA, CIA etc. There are a limited amount of agencies we can make badges for but require an ID and a letter of authorization, and they can't be shipped to a residential address. NO EXCEPTIONS

12. I ordered an accessory item how long will it take.
 

All items in the Smith & Warren catalog take 30 days to manufacturer. There are many items taht are SEMI-Custom and take as little as 2 weeks. But if you ordered a badge and a SEMI-CUSTOM item, they will hold your shipment until all items are made.

14. Our department wants a custom center seal, what is the cost?
 

Custom center seals usually cost between $250 and $300 as a one time die charge. If your department orders over 50 badges we will waive the center seal setup die charge.

15. If I buy a recessed wallet with my order will it be cut for the badge I buy?
 

All wallets, ID cases and recessed belt badge holders will be cut exaclty for your badge, as long as you buy it at the same time.

16. I purchased a Smith & Warren badge, now I want a wallet. Can I buy one?
 

Yes you can, but you will need to know the model number of your badge. Enter the model number in the space provided on the order form.

17. What if there is a spelling error on the finished product?
 

Please make sure you spell correctly! The badge will be made EXACTLY as you spell it when you enter your order. If we made the error, we will replace your badge with a corrected one at no charge upon receipt of the original incorrect badge. Return shipping charges will be credited to your credit card.

18. We want to buy a badge for our police dogs, what do you sell?
 

Every badge we offer has an option to have a "dog loop" put on. This is a special heavy loop ring that is used to attach to dog collars.

19. How much do you charge for shipping?
 

The shipping fees are $8.95 for UPS ground, $15.94 for second day air in the continental 48 states. Additional shipping charges will apply for Alaska, Hawaii, and international orders.

When we have a mixed order, we usually ship all items at the same time, and many mixed orders will be delayed until all items are available.
